Day 1: Marrakech � High Atlas � Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou � Ouarzazate � Dades Valley
Pick up at 8am in the Hotel or Riad where you are staying in Marrakech to go to the High Atlas Mountains, sub-mountain range of the Moroccan Atlas crossing the Port of Tizi-N�Tichka, where we will make several stops to appreciate its beautiful panoramic views and take photos of the Berber villages that are camouflaged with the color of the earth. Then we went south to reach the fortified town of Ait Ben Haddou or Fortified City, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987. In this spectacular frame have been shot many films as well known as: Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Gladiator , Obelix, Jewel of the Nile � etc.
We will have lunch in the village to continue towards Ouarzazate, known as the Puerta del desierto and whose name in Berber means without noise or without confusion. Noteworthy is its kasbah or citadel whose name is Taourit. We will continue to the Valley of Roses passing through the Great Palm Grove of Skoura where we can admire the more than a thousand palm trees and the large concentration of kasbah that are scattered throughout the oasis and its surroundings, later we will call the Valley of Roses, as its name indica is a beautiful place where the most beautiful damask roses are grown to make cosmetic products such as the much appreciated rose water. In this Valley once a year and in the month of May the Musseum de Las Rosas is celebrated. We will arrive at the Dades Valley where we will spend the night.
Day 2: Dades Valley � Gorges of Todra � Dunes of Merzouga � Night in Haimas
After breakfast, we can enjoy one of the best views of the Dades Valley. We will do it from one of the most strategic places that the mountains offer us. From there we can observe the amount of kasbah that there is and the picturesque of each of them. After making several stops along the way, we will arrive at Las Gargantas del Todra. Located near the city of Tineghir, they give way to the desert. Surrounded by a valley full of palm trees and adobe villages, here are the mountains most appreciated by lovers of climbing. These failures of Todra and Dad�s are the best known and also the most impressive in Morocco.
After a walk in the Gorges of Todra and lunch in Tinejdad or Touroug, we go to the desert to reach the impressive dunes of Merzouga where we will depart in a caravan of camels in a journey of about an hour to reach our nomadic haimas, Located in the middle of a sea of ??dunes (Erg Chebbi), we take the opportunity to see one of the most breathtaking sunsets you have ever seen before. Dinner and night in nomadic Haimas in the heart of the desert under a spectacular blanket of stars.
Day 3: Desert of Merzouga � Nomadic Families � Village of Khamlia � Return of Erg Chebbi
Today will be a day of Total Desert � Appointment with the Dawn � since they are in the desert, it is worth getting up early to walk to the highest dune that is around the haimas to enjoy the sunrise and this relaxing landscape that nature offers us, we will return in dromedaries to the village of Merzouga. After a copious and rich breakfast, we will go around the Erg Chebbi, an expanse of sandy desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, of more than 250 meters of altitude, and we will connect by track with part of the route followed by the old Paris-Dakar and with the mountains that border with Algeria in the background. Stop at the oasis of Tissardmin where we can find the race of Fossiles that are still in this region and we will continue route towards a nomadic settlement where we will know some of its secrets and customs. Later stop at a panoramic point where we can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole. We will arrive at the village of Khamlia, originally from Mali, where we will relax with a tea while we enjoy a small concert of spiritual music from Gnawa. Return to the Hotel and free afternoon to walk through the town or climb the dunes that are nearby to take advantage of the sunset. Dinner and accommodation in Hotel.
Day 4: Desert of Merzouga � Valley of Ziz � Middle Atlas � Forest of Cedros � Ifrane � Fes
Once ready we will head north through the Palmeral de Tafilalet where, we can see in 20km infinity of palm trees, which makes it one of the largest palm groves in the world. Crossing it we will arrive at the Valley of Ziz, name that receives from the river that comes down from the High Atlas and that feeds the palm grove. Here we will make a mandatory stop to observe the Valley from the top and see the town of Aoufous.
Stop planned at Midelt, right in the heart of the Middle Atlas, to rest awhile and have lunch. In the afternoon we will continue our last day passing through the Cedros Forest where if we are lucky, we can find some monkeys, without stopping by
